At a time when we should be looking after the environment?
And making it easier for homeowners and businesses to get by?

If you’ve answered yes to any of the above, ECO are proud to be the solution to all your cardboard recycling needs.
It’s never been more important to take care of the environment. And since Britain left the EU, it’s crucial to ensure our country is self-sustainable.
Britain has entered a brave new world and ECO are one of the companies pushing for its revival. We can say this confidently because we’re re-establishing cardboard waste collection. An industry that’s been extinct in the UK for quite some time.

Why ECO cardboard recycling is different

We’re the Nottingham cardboard recycling firm looking to help re-spark the nation’s pride. We’re local, convenient, and the answer to the question ‘what cardboard recycling is near me?’
We all lead busy lives. And we know how frustrating it is to be turned away because you didn’t book the right slot. Or come in the right vehicle.
At ECO, we offer a friendly and efficient service that’s unlimited in terms of what we offer. Put simply, we take your cardboard waste and paper. Whenever and wherever is convenient for you. Better yet, no amount of cardboard and paper is too much.
So, forget about vehicle restrictions. Or logging your registration and arriving at a strict time. Because with ECO, we value traditional British standards of customer service and efficiency. Which means we make it easy for you to recycle your paper and cardboard waste.

Who benefits from ECO?

At ECO, we’re here to help everyone with their cardboard and paper recycling. Find out how below:

Individual residents

Working from home or carrying out DIY renovations means you’ll end up with too much cardboard. Which presents a real headache when you clear it via traditional collection services.

As you’re no doubt aware already, if you miss a collection, you must wait 2 weeks for the next one.

Avoid all this stress and hassle by giving an ECO a call. You don’t need to have a contract, either. Our friendly and efficient teams can collect on an ad-hoc basis.

Plus, if you get your waste collected regularly, you choose the date and times. Because at ECO, we’re a recycling service that fits around your schedule.

Small local businesses

Running a small business comes with a thousand and one demands. Let’s face it, your time is precious. The last thing you need is to be on hold to the council, wondering when your missed bin will finally be collected.

At ECO, we offer a concierge service for all our clients. We’ll pick up at a time that’s convenient for your small business, often within the very same day.

Just let us know your location and if you want our teams to collect it. We’ll get the job done at a competitive price and leave you to get on with your day.

Commercial & Industrial

With so many goods in and out, sites like these produce a lot of cardboard. You need to be able to dispose of it quickly and in a way that’s cost efficient. And just as importantly for your reputation, in a way that helps the environment.

ECO can arrange to remove your cardboard on a weekly basis. Or on a delivery schedule that works for you.

At ECO, we develop relationships. That way, you can trust us for all your recycling needs, both now and in the future.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I do if I have a large amount of cardboard to recycle?

When it comes to cardboard and paper recycling, we offer no restrictions. You can give us as much as you want. Better yet, we’re flexible with how we receive it. Either drop it off or ask us to come and collect.

So long as it’s not contaminated, we’re happy to fit in with whatever works for you.

Can I mix cardboard recycling with paper recycling?

Yes. Provided your cardboard is in paper form. This is like the type of cardboard you’d find with a cereal box, for example. In these cases, it’s fine to put cardboard and paper together.

Corrugated cardboard, however, must be collected in a separate load. This is the type of cardboard that’s found in your typical cardboard crate.

Can I recycle pizza boxes?

Pizza boxes are made from corrugated cardboard and, technically speaking, can be recycled. Food or grease is usually inside, though. Which then contaminates the load.

So, if they’ve been used, pizza boxes should be put in household waste. Which is why they are rejected for recycling most of the time.

What should I do before I recycle my cardboard?

The first thing to do is flatten your cardboard. Then ensure there’s no content inside. This could be food or any kind of paper or plastic.

If there’s any kind of wrapping inside the cardboard, it’s best to separate it. Once you’ve done that, simply stack it in a dry place ready for collection.
